Parents and guardians are asked to ensure that all students absences are explained within 7 days. This can be done by:
- a text message through the Skoolbag App (which is available for both Apple and Andriod devices)
- an email to the school (cessnocke-p.schools.nsw.edu.au)
- a phone call to the school office ( (02) 4990 1549)
or
- a handwritten note sent into the office or to the classroom teacher with the students name, date and reason of absence and parents signature and contact number
Letters of unexplained absence are sent home after 7 days and need to be returned within a week.
Any absences recieved after this 14 day period cannot be entered onto the offical roll and therefore will remain as unexplained.
