Kayla Wins Gold!

Cessnock East Public School is extremely proud of our Year 3 student Kayla Germyn.

Kayla recently travelled to Melbourne as part of the Cessnock PCYC Trampolining team to compete in the Australian National Championship event.

Kayla won gold in the under-11 women's division, placing first against competitors two years her senior and placed seventh in the synchronised event (with Sydney athlete Maddison Rodd). 

Congratulations Kayla and your team members for such a successful competition bringing home six gold

medals between them.
