Process for External Providers
The process for External Providers will change at Cessnock East Public School in 2025.
There is a flowchart that outlines the process at Cessnock East.
Parent/carers contact us to organise their Learning and Support meeting. This meeting will happen at school with the parent/carer, Principal, Learning & Support teacher and the Therapist to discuss the expectations and outcomes for the students.
Once the parent/carer has requested the meeting they will contact the provider to let them know the date and time.
You will be notified of the outcome of the request at the meeting, and if the request is approved, will then need to provide the Service Agreement and documentation as required by the Department of Education.
